Kay Ann Bedford's Obituary
Kay Bedford, age 81, of Twin Lake, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.
Kay was born in Pigeon, Michigan, raised in Saginaw, and met her husband of 59 years, William (Bill) Bedford, while attending Central Michigan University. Upon Bill’s graduation from CMU, the pair moved to Whitehall where they raised their four children, Wendy, Heath, Chris, and Chad. Kay was passionate about all things crafty; she loved to crochet, ceramics, and even taught porcelain doll classes at her home. Prior to retirement, Kay worked in HR for Mercy Hospital, currently known as Trinity Health.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred & Helen Krueger, her niece, Carrie Galsterer and sister-in-law, Sharon Jones.
Survivors include her loving husband, Bill; her daughter, Wendy (Greg) Henderson, and sons Heath (Paula) Bedford, Chris (Kristina) Bedford, and Chad Bedford (Kristie Bruesch); grandchildren, Chalie (Jeremy), Brennen (Logan), Austyn, Houston, Hunter, Paris, Sydney, Maddie, Colton, Broedy, Raelyn, Myles, and Adalyn; great-granddaughter, Briar; sister Nancy (Dick) Galsterer; brother-in-law Dave Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at her daughter’s home, in Whitehall, Sunday, June 4, 2023, from 3-5.
