Kay Elizabeth Jensen's Obituary
Kay Eilzabeth Jensen, adored wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away at home on July 8, 2025. She touched the lives of many. The impact of her love and boundless generosity ripples far and wide.
Born on May 20, 1955, in Muskegon, Michigan to Fred and Orva (McQueen) Horan, Kay grew up in a close-knit family. She would carry on the tradition of love taught to her by Fred and Orva all of her life.
Kay was a devoted wife to her husband Ron Jensen, whom she married on July 12, 1997. As a mother, she was a source of endless love, support, and wisdom to her children. Kay’s grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure, brought her immense joy and pride.
Kay’s passion for life was evident in everything she did. She held a deep love of the outside and found happiness on a lake, spending time fishing, or around a campfire. Always on the move, she never missed an opportunity to celebrate a loved one's birthday, anniversary, or achievement. She cherished moments spent with family and friends, often hosting gatherings filled with laughter, good food, and great times.
She is survived by; her dearest friend and husband, Ronald Jensen, siblings Tom (Darlene) Horan, Chris (late husband, Kim) Squires, Tim (Shawn) Horan, very special friends Terri Pieczynski, Denise (Gomer) Mancilla, children Alisha (Ken) Osborn, Jason (Nicole) Osborn, Clara (Kraig) Letts, Ronald Jensen Jr., Rhonda (Todd) Hansma, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many dearly loved friends who have become family.
