Kay Ann Krywicki's Obituary
Kay Ann Krywicki, age 72, was called home on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was born on August 15, 1949, to Frank and Madge (Teadt) Wolfe in Sturgis, MI. On June 10, 1967, Kay married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Anthony Krywicki, and they spent 50 loving years together until his passing in January of 2017.
Kay’s love for God was enriched through her church attendance with her family finding times of worship at St. Michael’s Church - Brunswick, Cedar Creek Evangelical Covenant Church, Oak Crest Church of God - Muskegon, Cedar Creek Alliance Chapel, and First Baptist Church - Muskegon.
Her generous love for family was evidenced in her nurturing, encouraging, and prayerful protection of her children and grandchildren. Her love for life was shared through cooking, flower gardening, decorating, and being a servant in so many ways. Kay and her husband opened Friendly Haven Adult Foster Care Home in the mid 1970s. Dozens of individuals were able to share house and home with the family for 42 years. Always staying busy, the duo were partners too in the design and operation of Country Scoop & Deli near Fremont in the mid 1990s to mid 2000s.
Kay loved and cherished her family and will be greatly missed by her daughters, Denniell (Bradley) Johnson of Muskegon, MI, Tanya Krywicki of L’Anse, MI, Lori (Christian) Beckley of Muskegon, MI; grandchildren, Chloe Johnson, Rebecca Rowan (Jesse Zuniga), Courtney Klug, Joshua Jr. Klug,  Abby Klug, Tristan (Shaina) Klug, Jasmine Klug, Tony Dumont Carrion, Kara Krywicki, Taylor Beckley (Justin Kamradt), Joseph Beckley; great grandchildren, Bailey and Corbin; brother, Douglas Wolfe of Kalamazoo, MI; brother-in-law Jack Wortelboer of Twin Lake, MI, and nephews and nieces.
Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Krywicki, her parents, father and mother-in-law Tony & Amelia Krywicki; brother-in-law Richard Krywicki, sister-in-law Geraldine Wortelboer, and brother-in-law Joseph Krywicki.
A celebration of Kay’s life will take place on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at First Baptist Church (1070 Quarterline Rd.) from 10:00 – 12:00 PM. Burial will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
