Kelli Marie Terpstra's Obituary
Kelli Terpstra, age 39, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 1, 1982 to John and Phyllis (Westbrook) Wiltzer in Traverse City, MI. On August 14, 2009 she married the love of her life, Rick Terpstra, and together they spent a total of 14 happy years together. Kelli was an incredibly talented hairdresser and cook. She had a way of lighting up a room as soon as she entered. Her smile and grace would bring joy to all who surrounded her. She enjoyed volunteering her time to her loved ones and all the people around her. She had such a giving heart when it came to other people, especially those in need. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Kelli lived for spending time with her loving family as much as she could. Being a part of prayer ministry, women’s groups, and mission trips, she showed how much of a servant of Christ she was and still is. Kelli had such an open and friendly personality that she was adored by every soul that she met. She will be severely missed by all the lives that she has touched. Kelli is survived by her loving husband, Rick Terpstra; her 3 children: Isaiah Nail, Cody Terpstra, and Georgia Terpstra; brother, Matthew Wiltzer; sister, Jamie Hulett; and many nieces and nephews. A FUNERAL SERVICE for Kelli will take place on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Forest Park Covenant Church (3815 Henry St.) at 2:00 PM with a time to visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Norton Cemetery. For a more lasting memory, donations in Kelli’s name can be made to Portage Lake Covenant Bible Camp. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444.
