Mrs. Kelly Jean Allen's Obituary
Mrs. Kelly Jean Allen, age 51, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at a local hospital. Kelly was born January 17, 1965 to Franklin and Sharon (Currie) Rey in Frankfort, MI. On December 18, 1981 she married Donald E. Allen in Muskegon. Kelly was a giving person who enjoyed anything to do with her family, including camping and cookouts and especially cooking for them, making sure there was plenty for everyone. She loved being a grandma and doted on her grandson. She also loved the casinos. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 34 years, Don; her children, Darek (Angi) Allen and Brandi (Craig) Allen, both of Muskegon; her grandson who was very special to her and who she loved very much, Emiliano Jaramillo; mother, Sharon (Vear) Dorman; mother-in-law, Darlaine (Mike) Edel of Scottville; brothers, Terry (Darcey) Dorman and James (Crystal) Dorman, all of Kalkaska; sisters, Lori (Tom) Woods and April (Byron) Vanas, all of Muskegon, and Stephanie (David) Dorman of Kalkaska; brothers-in-law, Tim Allen of Lakewood and Richard Allen of Fremont; and many nieces and nephews. Kelly was preceded in death by her father and father-in-law. An OPEN HOUSE will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Roosevelt Park Community Center, 3106 Roosevelt Road.
