Kelvin "Kelly" DeWitt's Obituary
Mr. Kelvin “Kelly” DeWitt, age 63, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Grand Rapids. He was born on February 14, 1950 in Holland, MI to Donald and Jean (Brinkman) DeWitt. Kelly served his country well in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He worked at Sealed Power and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and making people smile. SURVIVORS include two children, Kari DeWitt and Jennifer (Joe) Johnston; four grandchildren, Kody DeWitt, Kelli Jo Milligan, Morgan and Finnegan Johnston; three brothers, Kendall (Jean) DeWitt, Kimber (Judy) DeWitt and Karl DeWitt; and two sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Veenstra and Kristin DeWitt. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1PM Friday at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Chapel (3000 Monroe Ave. NE). VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior.
