Kendra S. Workman-Haase's Obituary
Kendra S. Workman-Haase, age 59, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Muskegon, MI., on June 3, 1965. Kendra worked in Environmental Services at Marlette Regional Hospital until she retired in 2024. Prior to this she had her own daycare for 15 years where she enjoyed caring for families and other family members’ children. She was family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids. Kendra loved to ride motorcycles, spending time with her friends and time at the beach. She was known for her turkey roasts and parties at her home on Muskegon Lake. Kendra is survived her mother Janice “Jan” Thompson; children: Trent (Candace) Swanson, Daryk (Britney) Swanson and Jennifer (Jared) Ohrenberger; grandchildren: Cherish, Jerzi, Braelynn, Aubree, Lauren, Xavier, Sawyer, and Emersyn; her sisters: Kellie (Travis) Ghezzi and special nieces and nephews; Valerie, Connor, Sophia, Summer, Koby and great nieces; Vivienne and Margot; her sister: Karna Pastoor and special nieces Kristin, Jade, Sky and Violet. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Workman Jr. and stepdad William Cannon. Arrangements by the Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W.
