Mr. Kenneth Lee Bledsoe Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Lee Bledsoe Sr, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2025, in Allendale, MI. Ken was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on February 24, 1966, to Morris and Emma Lee (West) Bledsoe Sr. He graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis and went on to serve in the U.S. National Guard. Ken had a passion for cooking, and over the years he worked as manager and head chef at many restaurants, including Charley’s Crab, Peninsular Club, Red Geranium Café, and the BOB. Ken loved to travel and always enjoyed the finer things in life, and he was a devoted fan of University of Michigan Athletics.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by his three children: Heather Nicole Richardson, Kenneth (Kierstin) Pruitt-Bledsoe Jr, and Amber Pruitt-Bledsoe; six grandchildren: Brian Baxter, Kaydence Pruitt, Kaycee Pruitt, Andre Pruitt, Karter Pruitt, and Kyla Pruitt; five siblings: Mark Bledsoe, Alan Bledsoe, Janet Ford, Melissa (Al) Fox, and Morris (Shannon) Bledsoe Jr; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
