Mr. Kenneth Bilk Craker's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Bilk Craker, age 74, passed away Wednesday evening, November 16, 2016 at his home. Kenneth was born December 15, 1941 in Muskegon to Ernest E. and Mary (Ellis) Craker. On September 21, 1962, Ken married the former Linda Finney in Muskegon and she survives him. After graduating from Ferris State University, Ken worked as a tool designer, a Muskegon County Deputy Sheriff and also a ferrier. Ken was a life member of the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Mounted Unit; aka ‘Posse’, a member of The Fraternal Order of Police, the American Ferriers Association, and the Cooking Club. He enjoyed golfing, horses, horseback riding, and barbecuing. He had been a member of Dalton Baptist Church for 60 years and more recently a member of Calvary Memorial Church. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. In addition to Linda, his wife of 54 years, Ken is survived by his 3 children, Lorraine (Tracy) Bush of Grand Haven, Doyle (Lorilee) Craker of Grand Rapids, and Jodi (Mike) Connell of Grant; 7 grandchildren, Michael (Grace) Connell, Jacob (Stacey) Connell, Ryan (Angelique) Connell, Amanda Connell, Jonah Craker, Ezra Craker, and Phoebe Craker; 5.8 great grandchildren; his sister, Mary Ann Wallace; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ernst Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Don Wallace. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Calvary Memorial Church, 909 E. Giles Road, with Pastors Mike Connell and Jeff Dunn officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Memorial Church or The Harbor Hospice Foundation.
