Kenneth E. Creason's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth E. Creason, age 80, passed away March 30, 2012 at North Ottawa Community Hospital. He was born on August 24, 1931 and was raised by James and Lucille (Felton) Creason. He had worked as a clerical worker for Roadway Express prior to his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Ken served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed going to the casino and traveling. On August 25, 1951 he married, Bertha Helsel in Muskegon and she survives him along with 2 children, Jerald (Deloros Schwartz) Creason and Kimberly (Tom) Riley both of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy (Diana) Creason, Dannielle O’Brien, Rhyannon (Larry) Sanders, Jenifer Bodnar, Jessica Creason, Joshua (Krystal) Schneider, Devon (Caitlin) Schneider: many great-grandchildren and brother, Robert (Lucille) Creason of Toledo, OH. Ken was preceded in death by his birth mother, Marjorie (Richard) Johnsen. MEMORIAL SERVICE and Veteran Rites will take place 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials to Great Lakes Hospice would be appreciated.
