Mr. Kenneth DeWitt Frutchey's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth DeWitt “Butch” Frutchey, age 70, passed away Thursday afternoon, May 30, 2013. Butch was born October 5, 1942 in Muskegon to Roscoe and Kathleen (Pierce) Frutchey. On December 16, 1962, he married the former Shirley Portenga and she preceded him in death this past Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Butch had worked as a general foreman at Modular Systems for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1995. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Charles) Payne of Muskegon; granddaughter; RyAnne Payne; a brother, Roscoe B. (Wanda) Frutchey Jr. of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Louise M. Nearanz of Whitehall, Virginia L. Gale of Twin Lake; brother-in-law, Arthur Johnson of Montague; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife of 50 years, Shirley; Butch was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gayle Frutchey; and 3 sisters, Nancy Frutchey, Patricia Beattie, and Betty Lou Johnson. Private family services will be held.
