Kenneth W. Hammond's Obituary
Kenneth W. Hammond, age 77, passed away March 9, 2020 at a local hospital. He was born on March 27, 1942 to Wilbur and Bertha (Werner) Hammond in Grand Rapids. Ken worked over 25 years for CWC in Muskegon. He belonged to several organizations: Life Member of the Muskegon Motorcycle Club, Fruitport Eagles, Mona Lake Boat Club, American Motorcycle Association, American Gun Club and the Muskegon Pistol & Rifle Club. Ken enjoyed being on the water boating, racing motorcycles and was an excellent pool player. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters, Terina Kops and Sherry (Thomas) Williams; 4 grandchildren, Bard Kops, Nathan Williams, Brittany (Trevor) Beck and Christopher Williams; brothers, Ray (Rosemary) Hammond, Bill Hammond and first wife, Mary Hammond. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; long-time girlfriend, Mary Lou Johnston; siblings, Geraldine Farr, Vivian Knapp, Martha Downs, Jerome, Lyle, Harold and Richard Hammond. A PRIVATE MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held for Ken at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
