Kenneth K. Heaney's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Kurt “Kenny” Heaney, age 74, passed away Saturday evening, August 22, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. Born June 17, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Alvin and Ruth (Mock) Heaney, he was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Kenny is survived by his children: Kurt Heaney of Muskegon, and two children living out of state; two grandchildren; his close friend, Marcella “Marcie” Beachum; his adopted brother Jim (Helen) Miller, with whom he made his home; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Allen. Kenny was an easygoing gentleman who would give someone else the shirt off his back if it was asked for. VISITATION will be 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Avenue, phone 231-726-5210, with a military flag presentation there at 7:00 P.M. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS to his family to assist them with final expenses would be appreciated.
