Mr. Kenneth Lawrence Love's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Lawrence Love, age 93, passed away Saturday evening, December 27, 2014. Ken was born September 3, 1921 in Benzonia, MI to Glen and Hilda (Dubuclet) Love, and has been a resident of this area since 1945. He served his country in the U.S. Marines during WWII. Ken went on to work as a machinist at Campbell, Wyatt and Cannon for nearly 20 years. Ken later owned and operated his own business, Love Finer Home Builders. He was a member of Central Assembly of God Church and V.F.W. Post #8846. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and building homes. Kenneth is survived by his children, Ted (Cheryl) Love of Muskegon, Gordon (Pam) Love of Newaygo, and Mark (Kathy) Love of Sparta; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Love of Chicago; half-brother, Dwayne; half-sisters, Glenna, Patti, and Glenda Mae; step-brother, Mike Fox; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Larry A. Love; a brother, Harold Love; half- brothers; Donald, Glen John and Gordon; and half- sister, Corky. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 31 ,2014 at the Central Assembly of God Church 896 Home St. with Pastor Wally Reames III officiating and Full Military Rites under the auspices of VFW Muskegon County Council. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8PM at Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave, 726-5210 and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Mercy VNS Hospice or Central Assembly of God.
