Kenneth James McCarty's Obituary
Kenneth “Ken” James McCarty, age 42, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Trinity Health – Muskegon Campus. He was born April 4, 1982 in Grand Rapids, MI to Kenneth P. McCarty Jr. and Betty L. Rasmussen. Ken worked as a kitter for Fair Life, LCC. Ken enjoyed disc golf, taking drives, wood crafting and video games. He was a fan of heavy metal music and concerts. Survivors include his significant other, Marie Munk; his father, Kenneth P. McCarty, Jr; his mother and step-father, Betty and Gary Rasmussen; step-siblings, Melissa Malmgren, Amanda Rasmussen, Anthony (Bri) McCarty; his step-grandmother, Bonnie Rasmussen; a niece, Haley Rasmussen; and a nephew, Ryden Malmgren. He was preceded in death by his brother, James David McCarty in 2022; and his grandparents, Frank and Ruth Stowe, and Thomas Rasmussen. In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public services.
