Kenneth Osborn,Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Kenneth L. Osborn, Sr., age 95, passed away early Friday morning, March 19, 2004 in Muskegon. He was born July 11, 1908 in Selah, Washington to Charles H. and Alice I. (Fisk) Osborn, and moved to this area in 1926. He worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 37 years, before retiring, was in the U.S. Army, and had belonged to Local #113. He married Beulah M. Barnhard , his wife of 72 years, on March 29, 1929 in Fremont. She preceded him in death on May 23, 2001. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Marjorie Ray of Fairdealing, MO, Kenneth (JoAnn) Osborn of Norton Shores, Orvil (Betty) Osborn of Grand Haven, Carolyn (Wayne) Brooks of Twin Lake, Marian (Arnold) VanderKooi of Muskegon, Judy Potter of Muskegon; 18 grandchildren,41 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 2 sons-in-law, Julian Ray and Alfred Potter. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Tom Siefert officiating. Burial will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
