Mr. Kenneth M. Schugars' Obituary
Mr. Kenneth M. Schugars, age 63, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 27, 2014 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born in Muskegon on August 14, 1951 to Merton and Helen (Poslusny) Schugars and graduated from Mona Shores High School, class of 1969. Ken was employed by Lawson Products, Inc. where he had worked as an Industrial Sales and Services Representative for over 25 years. He was a member of St. Mary the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the E.A.C. for many years. Ken was an avid woodworker, enjoyed golfing and loved his 1967 Corvette Stingray. On July 14, 1972, Ken married the former Sharon A. Denhof in Muskegon and she survives him along with two children, Dr. Sara (Doug) Schugars Davis and Seth (Lindsey) Schugars; special Papa to five grandchildren, Lillian, Abigail, Owen Kenneth, Lucas, Reese and a granddaughter due in December; two brothers, William (Janet) Schugars and Phillip Schugars; one sister-in-law, Valeria Schugars and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald Schugars and mother-in-law, Lillian Denhof. A MEMORIAL MASS will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Mary the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. VISITATION will be from 6-9 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. MEMORIALS may be made to the Renucci Hospitality House.
