Mr. Kenneth W. "Ken" Sherwood's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth W. Sherwood, 78, entered his Savior's arms Friday morning, January 2, 2015. Born March 14, 1936 to Vernon and Trena (Rose) Sherwood, he was a life resident of Muskegon. On May 18, 1957 he married the former Norma Mae Post in Hart, and she survives him. Ken was a member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church where he had been an Elder and Deacon, and after retiring as a machinist, had been active in building maintenance as well. His SURVIVORS include his wife, Norma; children: Wayne (Teri) Sherwood, Sandra (Bob) Elmer, and Brian (Marlies) Sherwood; eight grandchildren: Jaccob, Jessica, Jenna, Trevor, Tanner, Taylor, Miranda, and Bradley; five great-grandchildren: Kali, Emma, Aubree, Nathan, and Avery; a sister, Rose Hoos; and sister-in-law, Marie Kuypers. His parents, a sister, Verna Allen, and a brother, Henry, preceded him in death. VISITATION with his family will be 10-11 A.M. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Bethany Christian Reformed Church (Terrace St. at Hartford Ave.) followed by A CELEBRATION OF KEN'S LIFE at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. David Sieplinga officiating.
