Kenneth F. McLean's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth F. McLean, age 94, passed away Monday, February 16, 2009 at the VNS Hospice House. Mr. McLean was born June 24, 1914 to Frank A. and Anna (Radel) McLean in Muskegon. On July 11, 1942 he married Ruby L. Wright and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2001. He was employed with Sheet Metal Workers Local 410 for 22 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the Polish Falcon, Lakeside Recreation Club, Muskegon Eagles, Pulaski Lodge and the Lithuanian Club, among others. He is survived by 2 brothers-in-law, Gene (Donna) and Dale (Maggie) Wright, both of Muskegon, 1 special nephew, Jack Hopkins and several other nieces and nephews. Ken was also preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother and 4 sisters. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Thursday, February 19, 2009 at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231 759-8565 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ken’s name may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
