Mr. Kenneth J. Bratherton, age 62, passed away May 29, 2010 at home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in 1947 in Detroit, MI to James and Martha (Raak) Bratherton, and resided in the Muskegon area most of his life. Read Obituary
I recently decided to go on line in an attempt to locate old friends and was saddened to learn of Ken's passing. Ken and I played on the WMU baseball team as well as the Adray Appliance Free Press team in the summer. We were also room mates at WMU. I have fond memories of Ken and the birth of his son Kirt - whom I held as an infant.

i just found out that my fav teach passed way, he was the best teacher i ever had because he was more then a teacher to me he was a father figure to me and a good friend. i miss him a lot and i kove u dad even though ur not my real dad but i love u dad.

I played on the Livonia Franklin Baseball team with Ken and graduated in his class of 1965 with him. He was an awesome athlete and an awesome man. These past few years we have had the chance to renew our friendship and I am deeply saddened to lose Ken now. We know he is held in the arms of God and is smiling down on us know.
