Kenneth L. Eggert's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth L. Eggert, age 84, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 15, 2011. He was born May 30, 1927 in Toledo, OH to Kenneth and Marguerite (Blakely) Eggert. Ken was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from the Michigan Army National Guard in 1987. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #9 and a member of the Lion’s Club, where he had served as president for several terms. Ken was also a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and had a passion for wood working. SURVIVORS include his wife, Jeannine; daughters, Jackie Hand of Florida, Billie Dozer of AZ, Kendra Higginson of Germany; sons, Mike Huff of California, Larry Shultz and Nick Shultz of Michigan, as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Marcia. A MEMORIAL SERIVCE will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Gilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or Harbor Hospice of Muskegon.
