I was on my way into town this morning listening to blue lake radio. The announcer came across and said Kent Krive Jr. just gave a donation in honor of his parents 63rd wedding anniversary. After that he said that Kent Krive himself just gave a donation in honor of his 63rd wedding anniversary.
Mr. Krive was our band director at Muskegon High School, and my band director at Steele Junior High as well. He was a well groomed teacher who helped us reach performance excellence, and mentored through his own demeanor how to conduct ourselves with grace, self discipline and respect for others. His own talent on the clarinet was inspiring to me as a performer. During my visit with my brother Larry today, I shared what I had heard, and said I wanted Kent to know how much his influence on my life was positive. Larry said he felt the same way I do concerning Mr. Krive. My brother Chuck, who has gone on to be with our Lord, worked along side this leader and had the utmost respect for him.
All this to say, congratulations Mr. Krive and your wonderful wife, and may you both live to see 70 years of marriage together.
P.s. You've been married as long as I've been on this earth 😃. Kudos!
Praise the Lord for your influence in my life.
