Keri June Smith's Obituary
Keri June Smith, age 55, of Grand Haven passed away Friday, September 3, 2021, at home. She was born May 12, 1966, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to William Edward and Martha Marie (Bennett) LeBaron.
At Kenowa Hills High School Keri played basketball and dated her eventual husband, Jeff Smith. They were married on May 23, 1987, and together celebrated 34 years of marriage. Keri’s first loves included spending time with her grandkids and family. Her other interests were baking, crocheting, camping, walking, the beach, and studying the Bible in her “quiet time room”. She will always be remembered for her servant’s heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeffrey Smith; two daughters, Stephanie (Pastor Nathan) Buchanan and Kelsey Smith; two grandchildren Kameron and Kolby Buchanan; parents William (Martha) LeBaron; father and mother-in-law, Curtis T. (Ruth Ann) Smith; two sisters, Karla (Owen) Marsman and Karen (Mike) Stehouwer; brother, William (Tracy) LeBaron; furry friend, Gracie; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Keri will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Harvest Bible Chapel in Spring Lake with Larry Dyksterhouse and Dan Turner officiating. Friends may meet the family on Tuesday, September 7, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Harvest Bible Chapel in Spring Lake. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
