Kerrigan Grace Shull's Obituary
Kerrigan Grace Shull, age 15, gained her Heavenly wings on January 4, 2022, and is held in the comforting arms of Jesus. Kerrigan was born in Grand Rapids, MI on August 24, 2006 and resided in Fruitport, MI. She is survived by her parents Jim and Amber (Strayer) Shull, one older sister, Hannah Shull and two older brothers, Giovanni Shull and Kiah Shull. Surviving Grandparents are Jim and Noreen Shull of Fruitport, Larry and Mary Fortin of Twin Lake, and Ron and Vicky Strayer of Fruitport. She has been blessed with a very large extended family who love her very much! Aunts and uncles including Shawn Tate, Kerri (Kevin) Aney, Becky (Brent) Gauthier, Jack Strayer, Debbie (Tony) Fine of Georgia, James Montgomery, David Fortin, Jesse Fortin, Travis Fortin, Jeremy Fortin, Michael (Marya) Fortin, Christina Adamson, Leticia Gallegos, and Juan (Rachael) Gallegos. Very special cousins include Marissa, Mikayla and Kelsie Aney, Jason (Jennifer) Aney, Eric (Kelly) Aney, Cole, Navea, and Trey Gauthier, Allegree (Justin) Hawkins, Garrett Tate, Jimmy (Savannah) Fine and Jason Fine. She has grown up her whole life with 23 exchange sisters and brothers from around the world, currently Emy Hallen from Sweden. She has so many close friends that loved her and will miss her so much! She loved her dogs, Oakley and Bolt, and cats, Chica and Puma. She was currently a Sophomore at Ravenna High School. She attended Living Life Church in Fruitport. She has participated in Maycroft Square Tappers, Girl Scouts, Destination Imagination, Basketball and most loved Volleyball! She was a penpal and sponsor to a child at Compassion International. Most recently, during the pandemic, she has shown her true talent for the arts. She loved to paint amazing freehand murals in her bedroom and paintings for the walls. She taught herself to play piano beautifully and recently learned the Ukulele and Guitar and was so excited to delight our ears with the songs she learned. She loved making Tik Toks, shopping, traveling, longboarding, snow skiing, snowmobiling, and just learned how to water ski at the cottage on Robinson Lake! She loved driving her mom's Jeep with the top down on the cold days and jamming to her music. She has quite a collection of beanies and bucket hats! The house was always filled with many wonderful friends to hang out with. Her stunning eyes, beautiful smile, spunky and fun-loving attitude, musical gifts, and spontaneous TikToks will be greatly missed! A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
