Kevin A. Tejchma's Obituary
Mr. Kevin Andrew “Tej” “Birdie” Tejchma, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2016, in Newaygo County, while tubing on the Muskegon River with friends. He was born December 18, 1989 in Muskegon to Andy and Nancy (Frost) Tejchma; and had been a life resident of the area. Kevin was a graduate of Fruitport High School and was an employee of Melching Corporation. “Tej” was an avid sports fan. He received a “hole-in-one” playing golf, at age 9, and he was also a part of two Championship Teams while playing Junior Hockey. SURVIVORS include his parents, Andy and Nancy; 3 siblings, Jason (Kristie) Horton, Amanda Horton and Kyle Tejchma; 4 nieces and nephews, Kennedy & Hudson Horton and Gunnar & Molly Geuke; his grandparents, Ann Frost and Jean Frost; and by many aunts and uncles, Henry & Linda Tejchma, Jimmy (Susan) Tejchma, Jerry & Char Tejchma, Tom & Aileen Tejchma, Ken & Patsy Diamond, Ted & Mary Ann Tejchma, Dan & Mary Tejchma, Steve Tejchma, Mary Jane Tejchma, Joyce & Scott Tisch, Dan & Lynnette Frost and Mike Frost and by many cousins and friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tony and Marcella Tejchma, David Frost and cousin Jeremy Tejchma. VISITATION will be held 6-8:00 PM on Saturday and from 2-4:00PM on Sunday, with FUNERAL SERVICES at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, Norton Shores, MI 49444, 231-798-1100, with the Rev. Phillip A. Sliwinski, presiding.
