Kevin W. Dilts' Obituary
Mr. Kevin W. Dilts, age 43, died as the result of an industrial accident Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Rothbury, MI. He was born October 19, 1969 in Muskegon to Wayne Dilts and JoAnn (Kracht) Dilts Kartes, and resided in the area all of his life. Kevin worked at Shoreline Fabrication and had many close friends from his jobs. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, Detroit Red Wing fan, MSU hockey and football fan, but most importantly a great family man to his wife and kids. On July 4, 1995 he married the former Melissa Warner and she survives him along with their 4 children, Tyler, Ashton, Hunter and Brayden; family dog, Zoe; father, Wayne (Patty) Dilts of Muskegon; mother, JoAnn (Roy) Dilts Kartes of Muskegon; in-laws, Robert and Catherine Warner; 2 sisters, Teresa Demorest of Westland, MI and Christine Dilts of Spring Lake; step-brothers, Joseph David (Lora) Brink and Jeff Kartes both of Muskegon; step-sisters, Lynnette Brink of Twin Lake, Paula (Tom) Wentzel of Traverse City and Jennie (Harold) Griswald of Muskegon; special uncle, Ellis (Kathy) Dilts; and by several nieces and nephews. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be 3PM Saturday (May 11) at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. Lowell Wood officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-9PM Friday evening. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions to the Kevin Dilts Memorial Fund c/o Muskegon Co-Op Federal Credit Union will be appreciated.
