Kevin Scott Fitzsimmons' Obituary
Kevin Scott Fitzsimmons, age 61, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 01:20am at St Anthony Franciscan Health Center, in Crown Point Indiana, surrounded by his family.
Kevin was born to Maxwell (Max) Fitzsimmons and Marguerite Fitzsimmons (Lathrop) on December 13, 1959 in Muskegon, MI. He graduated from Mona Shores High School. He entered the US Marine Corps with his brother Thomas. Kevin was stationed overseas in Beirut, Lebanon where he served our country.
Kevin was a truck driver and during his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, participating and following his favorite sports team, hunting and fishing.
Kevin is survived by his Mother, Marguerite Fitzsimmons, siblings; Kathleen Fitzsimmons, Nancy Preece, Susan Palmer, David Fitzsimmons, James Fitzsimmons, Timothy Fitzsimmons, Thomas Fitzsimmons and Karen Lowry.
Memorial service will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel, in Norton Shores, on Tuesday November 23, 2021. Visitation will start at 10:00am, with the service at 11:00am. Following the service, the family welcomes all to a luncheon being served in Shepherds Hall. After the luncheon we will proceed to Saint Mary’s Cemetery for Kevin‘s inurnment. Local arrangements have been entrusted to The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441.
