Kevin G. Karel's Obituary
Kevin G. Karel, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 1, 2015. He was born August 13, 1973 in Muskegon to Marvin and Barbara (LaGrande) Karel. Kevin was a graduate of Oakridge High School. He worked for Lakeshore Fittings for 18 years and for Hazekamp Meats prior to that. Kevin was an avid fisherman, hunter, and NASCAR fan. He loved spending time with family and friends, and attending his children’s sporting events. SURVIVORS include 2 children: Nicole Renee and Tanner James Karel; brother, Kurt (Amy) Karel of Muskegon; sister, Kristine (Rocky) Snell of Muskegon; nieces and nephews: Tayler and Trevor Karel, Rocky and Kristy Snell; and a special friend, Ronnie Barnes. He was preceded in death by his parents. SERVICES for Kevin will be 12 Noon on Friday, June 5, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
