Kevin L. Pernot's Obituary
Kevin L. Pernot, age 67, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born June 6, 1954 in Wyandotte, MI to Lyle and Eldean (Emms) Pernot. Kevin was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served during Vietnam. He worked 38 years for Morton Salt before retiring in 2014. On February 10, 2012, he married the former Cheryl “Cheri” Lombard in Flagler Beach, FL. Kevin belonged to the U.S.S. Coral Sea Association and had been a former member of the American Legion and VFW in Manistee, MI. He loved spending time with his wife and dog, Lilly, and enjoyed antiques and collecting classic cars. Kevin will be greatly missed by many. SURVIVORS include his wife, Cheri of Whitehall; 2 children: Laura Acles and Michael Acles both of Manistee, MI; step-son, Andrew Munn of Whitehall; and 4 grandchildren: Amber, Aiden, Oliver, and Kendall; and mother-in-law, Mary Lombard. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Kevin will be laid to rest privately at Fort Custer National Cemetery. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at a later date.
