I served with Kevin in Iraq and for the remainder of his time in the Army. I didn't keep in touch with him after he left the service as we were getting ready to deploy again, but I wish I would have. I don't know what made me think of him today, but I googled him and sadly came across this. He was a great person to be around. I'm incredibly sad to hear this.
Kevin was very caring and had a wonderful sense of humor. I appreciate his friendship with his cousin, my son, Jeremiah. You don't appreciate how short life can be. I'm sorry I didn't do better with keeping in touch over the last few years. My world is sadder knowing you are no longer in it. I hope you are with Grandma and Grandpa. I will miss you.
