Kim I. McClary's Obituary
Kim I. McClary, age 63, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 6, 1961, in Munising, MI but shortly after her family made their way to Muskegon, which was her home for the remainder of her life. Kim had many hobbies throughout her life, she was a gifted gardener, enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, riding ATVs, camping, boating and scooter rides with her life partner Norm. She was a very proud mother, who loved watching her daughter grow into an amazing mom. She was a very proud and loving grandmother who loved spending time with, and watching, her grandchildren grow into young adults. Kim had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cats. Kim cherished the time she spent with Norm, Michelle, her grandchildren Jalyn and Jadyn and many other friends and family members. She will always be remembered for her generosity, forgiving nature and a willingness to help out in any way she could. Kim’s unconditional love, outspoken and caring spirit will be missed by so many. She is survived by her partner in life, Norman Schilz; daughter, Michelle (Keith) Nelski; two grandchildren, Jalyn “Anjaleice” Brown and Jadyn Austin Brown; three sisters, Debra Bevins, Colleen “Coke” (Jim) Roberts and Jackie (Mike) Mudge; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte McClary; brothers, Greg (Laura) McClary and Shawn McClary. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
