Kim N. Scheffler's Obituary
Kim Norine Scheffler passed away in her sleep on Wednesday, March 21st, 2018 at age 62. She was born on September 15th, 1955 to Wayne and Carol Scheffler of Fruitport, MI. Kim attended Fruitport High School, had a passion for music, and was active in the Fruitport marching band. Kim had many other passions in life - her children above all else, followed closely by her love for animals. She spent time interpreting for the deaf throughout her life and loved to teach others how to communicate using their hands. Kim also enjoyed making quilts, blankets and anything with her sewing machine. Throughout her life she held many different jobs which all expressed her strength of helping and teaching others. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking and singing with her children and sisters and loving on as many animals as she could - especially her dogs, Baijan and Schatzi.
She is survived by her mother: Carol Scheffler of Fruitport, her children: Kristie (Daniel) Cook of Spring Lake, Tony (Jessamy) Hulings of Spring Lake, Andrew (Karrie) Hulings of Muskegon and Jamie (Matt) Gens of Spring Lake, her sisters: Lyndel, Lori, & Julie, her grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Tyler, Eyliana, Blare, Andrew, David, Ulric, Dominic, Brecken, Alayna, Emory & Harlow Joon, her great-grandchildren: Emsley Elaine & Mila Grace, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Scheffler.
