Kimberlee A. (Miller) Zuidema, 63, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on January 15, 2021 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Jane Miller and he Read Obituary
Miss Kim was a parapro for both our children, Ava and Jake. Over the years, she loved and cared for them. She showered them with hugs and brought them comfort. She became a friend to our family. Jake still talks about the day that he tried to pull the fire alarm in gym class but, luckily, Miss Kim intervened. She didn’t scold him. She scooped him up and took him to their classroom. I imagine she gave him a big hug. When I picked him up that day, she just smiled. That was Miss Kim. Always loving, always caring.
We send our deepest sympathy to Doc, Katie, Jamie, Holly and the rest of the family. Kim was so wonderful to work with on many things at Wayland United Methodist Church, Dinners, Bible schools, Holiday programs, many other things she was always there, such good times. I also worked with her at Wayland Schools in Pre primary Impaired rooms, such a wonderful person with the little children, very understanding of their disabilities. We will miss Kim always such a loving person, gone way to soon. We will pray for comfort for Doc, girls and family Prayers to all Jo Ann & Dennis Sherman
I knew Kim through her husband Doc and our love for horses. I was later blessed to be able to work with her in my daughter Becky's classroom at Hudsonville schools. My heart aches for her family, so sad. Please know that you are in our prayers. Al & Wanda

I knew Kim from our teenage years. She was a great friend even though the last 23 years we lived miles apart. Lots of good memories were made together. Lots of laughs and even a few tears. We are praying for peace and comfort to the family. Randy and Debbie Newenhouse
I worked with Kim for 10 years in the CI program first at SES, then GES. We quickly became friends and loved sharing about our families. We shared the tears and joys that life can bring. I remember the special birthday cakes she would make with lots of yumminess and love for our classroom staff. Kim knew how to make others feel special. I have many fond memories of those years we were together and so thankful for each one.
