Kimberly Lynn Cleveland's Obituary
Kimberly Lynn Cleveland, age 45, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024, after a fierce battle with cancer. She was born March 12, 1979, in Grand Haven, MI, to John and Hope (Makin) Cleveland. She graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1997 and received an associate degree from Baker College. Kim worked for The Coca-Cola Company for the last 12 years and was recently promoted to a supervisor position.
Kim was a self-dependent person and a hard worker. She was not afraid to get dirty and enjoyed working with her hands. She would spend time woodworking and taking on projects around the house. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially if it was near a body of water. When she was out with family or friends, she would never hesitate when the opportunity arose to start singing or dancing. Kim had a knack for being able to read people and was a loyal daughter, sister, and friend.
Kim will be dearly missed by her mother, Hope; sisters, Jessica Elder, Debbie Powell, Courtney Brown, Bailey Cleveland, Krystal Lamb, and Sheila Klomparens; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John; grandparents, Kenneth and Harriet Makin, and Darrell and Marianne Cleveland.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will take place from 1-3 PM on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444). To share special memories with the family, please visit www.sytsemafh.com.
