L. Brian Lee's Obituary
L. Brian Lee, age 70, passed away after a short illness on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born on March 23, 1952 in Muskegon to Stanley and Esther (Edgren) Lee. Brian worked as a licensed Funeral Director for his family’s Lee Funeral Home in Muskegon Heights for many years, before merging with Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services and retiring in 2015. Brian was a member of the Mona Lake Boat Club and the Muskegon Elks where he played golf on Thursday nights for many years with his friends. He was the lead guitar player for the Swinging Stem Cells and also enjoyed playing keyboard and piano. Brian liked watching and following the Detroit Red Wings. On June 5, 1976 he married the former Mary Czarniecki and they were married for 46 years. SURVIVORS include his wife, Mary; two children, Lynsey (Tom) Bean, and David Lee; two brothers, Dan Lee, and Randall (Neda) Lee; sister, Debra (Pat) O’Brien and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be 2 - 4 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Mona Lake Boating Club (372 Randall Rd. Norton Shores, MI 49441). Memorial Contributions in Brian’s name to Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp will be appreciated.
