Lana J. Ego's Obituary
Lana J. Ego, age 73, met her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at home after courageously battling cancer. She was born on December 5, 1947 to Arthur and Jacqueline (Riley) Homan in Muskegon, MI. She was a graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School. On April 21, 1971 she married the love of her life Max Ego at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 50 years of love and laughter. Lana was a proud mother and grandmother and truly loved spending time with her family. She was always wanting the best for others. She was genuinely one of a kind and her gentle and loving spirit will greatly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Max Ego; son, Justin (Sarah) Ego; 6 grandchildren, Ava, Amara, May, Tessa, Sophie and Travis; brother, Brett (Letty) Homan; sister, Dorothy Krafinski; daughter-in-law, Patti Ego; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend of 63 years, Pam Cabala. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jason Ego; and 2 brothers Rocky Homan and Vincent Homan. Memorial Contributions in Lana’s honor can be made directly to the American Cancer Society.
