Lanny C. Curtis' Obituary
Lanny C. Curtis, age 71, passed away early Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Poppen Residence. He was born on January 19, 1945 to Jessie and Beulah (Smith) Curtis in Bragg City, MO. Lanny was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Prior to his retirement in 2005, he had worked over 35 years at Brunswick as a lab technician. Lanny truly enjoyed his time on the water, fishing. On May 25, 1970 he married the former Patricia Hill in Hart, MI. She survives him along with 2 children, Christopher (Misty) Curtis and Cindy Curtis; 2 grandchildren, Kennedy and Nate. Lanny was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherlie Davis. THE FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Scott Church officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. MEMORIALS can be directed to Harbor Hospice. Burial will take place at Fruitport Cemetery.
