Larry J. Dobb's Obituary
Larry J. Dobb entered into the presence of his Savior Saturday, April 25, 2015. He was born June 28, 1938 in Muskegon to James Coe and Rosalie (Schroff) Dobb, residing in the area his entire life. On June 28, 1958, Larry married Janice Doctor to whom he was married for 56 years. His family and faith were very important to him. Larry was a life-time member of the Olivet Evangelical Free Church. He served the church in many leadership positions in addition to serving on the board of the Muskegon Rescue Mission. Survivors include, his wife, Jan; his children: Deb (Ken) Krispin, Mike (Tammi) Dobb, Joe (Shari) Dobb, Jim (Mary) Dobb, Kathy (Dave) Jones and Brenda (RJ) Paprocki; 22 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; three brothers: Tom (Po) Dobb, Tim (Marcia) Dobb and Pat (Pat) Dobb. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Larry was the founder of Dobb Printing Inc. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 1, 2015 at Olivet Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Craig Cramblet and Rev. Bill Dondit officiating. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday, April 30, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Olivet Evangelical Free Church Opening Doors campaign or the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
