Larry Fortin's Obituary
Larry James Fortin, age 67, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024. He was born August 7, 1956 in Muskegon to Gordon and Jeanette (Phillips) Fortin. On May 6, 1994, he married Mary K. Dierking in Muskegon. Larry worked in maintenance at Glen Oaks Apartments and retired in 2022 after 20 years of service. Survivors in include his loving wife, Mary Fortin; his children, Jeremy Fortin, Michael (Marya) Fortin, Jesse Fortin, Travis (Courtney) Fortin, David Fortin, Christina (Dale Talladay) Adamson , Beverly (David) Selby, Shawn Tate, Jack Strayer, Kerri (Kevin) Aney, Amber (Jim) Shull, Becky (Brent) Gauthier, James (Hannah) Montgomery, Gwen Burton; 27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Gordon (Lanora) Fortin; sisters, Donna (John) Arman, Cathy (Chuck) Edsall, Rhonda (Mike) Chester, Vickie Schroeder. He was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Adamson; 2 grandchildren, Carter Vanderstelt and Kerrigan Shull; his parents; and sisters, Barb (John) Moon, and Karen (Herb) Goff.
