Mr. Larry Russell Gallie's Obituary
Mr. Larry Russell Gallie, age 76, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born in Muskegon on September 19, 1942 to Russell and Betty (Conrad) Gallie. A lifelong resident of the area, Larry married the former Karen Wentzloff on October 11, 1969 in Muskegon. Larry worked at Meijer as a clerk for 41 years. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors hunting, fishing and taking rides down to the lake. Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen; daughter, Lisa (Corey) Allard; granddaughters, Hayden and Cameron Allard; mother, Betty Wood; siblings, Jim (Loretta) Gallie and Sandi Wisman; brother-in-law, Jim (Carolyn) Wentzloff; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carrie Ann Gallie in 1974; son, Daniel Gallie in 2015; and father, Russell. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2PM at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 49441, 231-759-8565. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service, from 1-2PM. Memorial contributions in Larry’s memory may be made to American Heart Association.
