Larry F. Jenkins' Obituary
Larry F. Jenkins, age 80, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. Larry was born on July 28, 1938 to Frank and Mae (Holtzlander) Jenkins in Big Rapids. Prior to 1995, Larry had worked for Dresser Lift Tech for 38 years as a machinist. He was a member of the Fruitport Eagles. Larry truly enjoyed Detroit sports, his puppies and western movies. On August 30, 1996, he married Patricia “Pat” Barnhill and she preceded him in death in 2017. SURVIVORS include their children, Pam McDonald, Larry (Diana) Jenkins, Lonnie Jenkins, Teresa (Bob) Gagnon and Gregg (Penny) Helm; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank “Chummy” Jenkins and sister, Maxine Jenkins. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service. Entombment will take place at Fruitport Cemetery.
