Larry D. Perry's Obituary
Larry D. Perry, age 37, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at home after courageously battling cancer twice. He was born on March 4, 1985 to Tommy Perry and Sandy Stephens in DeLand, FL, making his way to Muskegon in 1989. He graduated from Muskegon High School class of 2003. He had a lifelong career working as a supervisor for many companies before his last job at Cole’s Bakery. On September 7, 2007, he married the love of his life, Amanda Suarez in Muskegon. Together they cherished 19 years full of love, laughter and banter. Larry enjoyed being out on the water spending his time fishing. He also had a knack for collecting shot glasses and working on his truck. Larry was an avid football fan and loved rooting for his Dallas Cowboys! Not only did he enjoy watching football, he had a passion for coaching youth football and basketball. Larry was an outgoing man who knew how to fill a room with laughter easily. He was smart, witty and always willing to help anyone in need. His vivacious and tender loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Perry; three children, Alexis Perry, Isabel Perry and Steven Perry; mother, Sandy Stephens; in-laws, Steven (Julie) Suarez, Julie Garza and Johnny (Saray) Garza. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Perry; brother, Steven Perry; cousin, Jennifer Hyma; and grandparents, Hank and Patricia Perry. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be on held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
