Larry Lee Smith's Obituary
Larry Lee Smith, age 68, of Ravenna, MI went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Trinity Health Muskegon. Larry was born on November 8, 1953 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late David and Beatrice (Graves) Smith. Larry owned and operated a construction, metal fabrication, and automotive repair shop. He played the guitar and was the lead singer of several area bands over the years. He was the cornerstone of his family, and was known for his compassion for people, his ingenuity, and resourcefulness. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing music, and riding his motorcycle. His legacy will live on through all of the lives he's touched.
Larry is survived by his daughter: Julie (Rob) McGhan, Son: Keith L. Smith both of Ravenna, 2 grandsons, Jeremy and Reid. 3 Brothers: Daniel Smith of Shelby, Kenneth (Roberta) Smith of Muskegon, Bernard (Victoria) Smith of Ravenna. 4 Sisters: Edna Frees of Shelby, Grace Gonyon of Muskegon, Virginia (Jim) Nutt of Ravenna and Linda (Paul) Galdeen of Muskegon. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers: Richard Smith and Wally Smith and Sister: Mary Ann Vile.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Faith Bible Church at 101 S Maple Island Rd, Muskegon, MI 49442 with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. The family will be at the church from 9:00am until the time of service. Lunch to follow at the VFW at 6285 E Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI.
