Larry Alvin Taylor's Obituary
Mr. Larry Alvin “Buck” Taylor, age 81, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2020 at his home in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Bay City, Michigan on December 24, 1938 to Clarence and Marian (Gillespie) Taylor. On January 21, 1961, Larry married the former Barbara Elaine Malley in Bay City and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2019. Larry was employed by Geerpres Wringer for 36 years prior to his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed golfing, painting, and spent several years bowling at Northway Lanes on the His & Hers, Inc. bowling team. Larry took great pride in his yard; enjoying gardening, flowers, and maintaining the yard. Together, Larry and Barbara twice won the City of Muskegon Beautification Award. Larry is survived by his twin sons, Larry and Bradley Taylor; two grandchildren, Cory and Lauren Taylor; brother, Dennis Taylor; sister, Jeanine Smith; sister-in-law, Lola Taylor; and his cat, Lilly. In addition to his wife, Barbara, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Michael Taylor; his parents; and brother, Perry Taylor. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. MEMORIALS in honor of Larry may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation or to Noah Project Muskegon.
