Although lately I hadn't seen much of Uncle Larry aside from the holidays, he spent a lot of time with me while I was growing up.
Since my father passed away when I was only four, I always relied on Uncle Larry's words of wisdom to guide me through those points in life where a man's opinion counted most. He is the one responsible for encouraging me to attend college, and helped me decide upon a major. If he had not done this, I probably would not be where I am today--graduate school.
On the lighter side, when Kim and I were kids, we always had a blast riding in Uncle Larry's jeep, top down under the scalding days of late summer. Whether it was off to the ice cream parlor, or to parts unknown, traveling in the company of Uncle Larry's zany humor always seemed to get us there quicker.
For these and other reasons, he will continue to influence my life for the remainder of my days.
Love, forever...Cindy##imported-begin##Cindy Craze##imported-end##
