Dear Connie & Kim,
I was so sad to hear about Larry, who I always felt comfortable calling Dad. I was his student in choir (we won't put the year but it was a very long time ago), babysitter for his darling 2 daughters, and a friend.I went on vacations with them. And was always welcome at his home. He believed in me when others didn't. He was tough with me he stood by me during tough times at school. I made it through high school because of him. He sang at my wedding. You will be missed but I am sure you are already singing with all the angels in heaven. I will miss you. Love you Julie##imported-begin##Julie Nesbitt Siemen##imported-end##

Saddened to hear of Larry's passing. While it has been 20+ years since my grandfather and I visited for our fishing trips, I will never forget the wonderful time and the warm hospitality extended to our family by Larry and his family. I am forever grateful for the kindness extended to my grandfather, John Johnston. The fishing trips to Michigan provided him with some of his fondest memories. You truly enriched his life. God bless you and your family.##imported-begin##Steve Johnston##imported-end##
I was struck with profound sadness to learn of the death of Larry. We was a friend, mentor and true blessing to me. I will never forget the wonderful times we had together with the Shrine Chanters. Connie and family, I know that fond memories will comfort you during this difficult time. Larry truly enriched my life!##imported-begin##Bob Johnson##imported-end##
Connie & family, I am so sorry to hear of Larry's death. Since I just talked to you about our class reunion, I was shocked that he passed so soon. I guess I didn't realize he was that ill. I will be praying for you and your family. If you ever get to the Evansville area, please call me.

Dear Kim and Connie and Family,
Mr. Rueger touched many lives in different ways. I, for one, will never hear `Bad, Bad Leroy Brown` the same again. It brings an instant smile to my face. May you find comfort in the memories and the legacies that he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with you!##imported-begin##Erin VandenHeuvel-Coon##imported-end##

I often think of Mr. Rueger, each time I think of the song or sing the song "LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH" a song which Mr. Reuger taught when I was a choir student at North Shores Jr. High School in 1974.
To the Rueger family: Let there be peace in your hearts. Mr. Larry Rueger was truly a wonderful man. God bless and comfort you.
