Larry Lane Mast's Obituary
Mr. Larry Lane Mast, age 61, passed away early Monday morning, May 2, 2005, in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon, MI on September 9, 1943 to Gerald and June (Moore) Mast, and has been a life resident. Mr. Mast was a supervisor at Howmet Corporation for many years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and loved spending time with his family. On September 7, 1963, he married the former Linda Trujillo, and she survives him along with 3 children, Kimberley (Gregory) Lindner, Kristine (Ted) VanderVelde, and Keith (Amy) Mast; 8 grandchildren, Nicole, Jason, and Justin Lindner, Mallory and Amelia VanderVelde, Garrison, Jax, and Josie Mast; her mother, June Mast; and 1 brother, Gary (Jan) Mast. He was preceded in death by his father, and 1 sister, Marlene Anderson. A MASS OF REMEMBRENCE will be held at 11AM Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (451 S. Getty) with Rev. Fr. Michael Olson officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8PM Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565, with the ROSARY prayed at 8PM. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Visiting Nurse Services – Hospice would be appreciated.
