Latecia Berdenett Everette's Obituary
Ms. Latecia B. Everette, age 62, departed this life unexpectedly on Sunday, May 09, 2021. Latecia was born on March 10, 1959 to the union of Rance Reynolds and Azzie Crews in Ocala, FL. She enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, cleaning, listening to gospel music, watching urban movies, and spending time with her children, family, and friends. She graduated from Muskegon High School and became one of Muskegon’s most well-known beauticians. Latecia leaves to cherish in memories her children; Moricko (Lanesha) Reynolds of Texas, Monique Reynolds, Donald Everette, MarCia Everette, Abriana Winters, and Lasandra Everette all of Grand Rapids, MI; stepbrother, Kenny Winters of Muskegon MI; father of her children, Donald Everette Sr, and her lifelong companion, Reginald Thomas; a host of cousins, relatives, and friends. Latecia was preceded in death by her mother, Azzie Winters, stepfather, Booker Winters. A VISITATION for Latecia will be held from 4PM-7PM Friday, May 21, 2021 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Muskegon, Michigan 49444. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is allowed 25 guests in the building at a time. As people pay their respects to the family and exit the building, more guests will be allowed in. Masks will be required. A CELEBRATION OF LATECIA’S LIFE will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday May 22, 2020 at Church of the Living God, 4249 Quarterline Rd, Muskegon, MI 49444 with Bishop John M. Williams Jr., officiating. BURIAL will be at Oakwood Cemetery, 500 E. Forest Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family.
