I met Trey in Alameda, CA, Coast Guard Boot Camp. After surviving that experience we were stationed in Petaluma taking different career paths. Somehow we both ended up on the USCGC Mackinaw where we served together for 2 years. It was a friendship I will cherish forever. I was hoping to get together again with you, Randy, and Rick to reminisce the old days. You beat me to the gates my friend. I’ll miss you and your wonderful humor. Here’s a picture of the crew I’ve had on my shelf for the past 25 years. You’ll always be in my thoughts. Cheers my friend. 🙏
From kindergarten to a year at WKU, you were always you. God love you, old friend. Keep a candle in the window for me.
Jack and Janet (neighbors of Dave and Kathy) are sorry to hear about Trey's passing. Our condolences to the family.
Farewell fellow Coastie.

He had a smile and personality that made you want to be around him. I love you, Dad. I can’t wait to see you again.
