Laura E. Boes' Obituary
Laura Elaine Boes, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning, April 1, 2016. She was born July 22, 1938 in Ludington, MI to Albert and Agnes (Helbig-Molitor) Hill and had moved to Muskegon when she was 5 years old. Mrs. Boes was a graduate of Coopersville High School in 1956 after attending Muskegon High School. On June 15, 1956 she married Richard L. Boes in Muskegon. She attended Sheridan Drive Baptist Church and enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping for antiques. But most of all, she loved her grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her husband of 59 years, Richard; beloved mother to 4 children: Richard C. (Usha) Boes of Maplewood, NJ, Lesa (Todd) Husmann of Muskegon, Bradley Boes of Ravenna, Stacey (Michael) Bernethy of Nunica; devoted grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Sally Hadraba of Muskegon, Eve Halik of Georgia; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 6 sisters. A CELEBRATION OF LAURA’S LIFE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Sheridan Drive Baptist Church (84 S. Sheridan Dr., Muskegon, 49442) with Rev. Stephen Rumley officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
